Context

For the last 5 years, Design Intoto (DIT) has expanded beyond marketing design and animation and has been scaling up a capability of developing bespoke tech solutions (widgets) for some of their biggest clients.

DIT's leadership started to recognise how much reusable IP they had been accumulating and they started to explore the idea of combining existing (and future) code into a white-labelled platform.

002

Challenges

(Limited scalability)

Bespoke service model generated valuable reusable IP that wasn't being commercialised or scaled.

(Blocked by compliance)

Enterprise-scale work getting blocked by clients' in-house IT risk and compliance teams.

(In-house capability gap)

Internal capability gaps limited DIT's ability to develop a unified CVP, strategic roadmap and platform UX.

003

Opportunity

(Define a clear and executable CVP)

With limited in-house product experience, DIT needed a strategic design partner to guide their pivot. The opportunity was to define a clear CVP, guide a new product strategy and design a tangible platform vision that could be showcased to stakeholders and existing clients to secure buy-in for future development.

004

Outcomes

(New CVP, vision and platform UX)

Created a prototype to serve as a visual guide for product development. This included a scalable UX architecture that unified all of DIT's IP into a single, cohesive platform.

(New design function)

The platform overview provided a shared story that helped elevate client discussions, building the confidence and credibility for DIT to be seen as a strategic partner who understands enterprise needs and requirements.
